Park Tool VP 1 Vulcanizing Patch Kit Review: Park Tool VP-1 Vulcanizing Patch Kit. The patches themselves are extremely tough, not soft like some that I have used before. Soft patches can easily extend when the tube is inflated, causing the whole patch to peel off or blowing a tiny hole through the patch.The vulcanizing glue dries quickly and sticks as I expected.I like this kit so much I got 5 just for the glue, although the patches are also fine.
